Lego Ninjago is a Lego theme introduced in 2011. It is the first to be based on ninja since the interruption of the ninja subtopic of the Castle Line in 2000. As it preserves some elements of this previous topic, one of the main differences is a history of more detailed accompaniment, mainly supported by a sequence of television closely linked, Ninjago: Spinjitzu Masters.

The theme enjoyed popularity and success in its first year, and more than two years were commissioned before a planned outage in 2013. However, after a short parenthesis, the line was revived after the fans ‘ feedback and has been in production ever since.

The theme refers to the fictitious land of Ninjago, a place inspired by the myths and culture of East Asia. While it has ancient villages and traditional clothing, Ninjago is found in modern times, incorporating large cities with skyscrapers, as well as vehicles, largely mechanized outfits, and other futuristic technologies.

The main focus of the line is the formation and the ensuing feats and tests of a group of adolescent ninjas, fighting against the several forces of evil.
