Rick and Morty (born Rick and Morty) is a sequence of American comedy and sci-fi adult animation created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for the adult Swim night programming block, displayed on the Cartoon Network channel.
The sequence debuted on December 2, 2013, and accompanies the dangerous Adventures of the alcoholic scientist Rick and his grandson Morty, who divides his time between family life and interdimensional travel. In 2016, his first two seasons were released on Netflix with the Brazilian voice acting performed by the studio dubbing Company in Campinas and is also broadcast on the paid TBS channel. In August 2015, Adult Swim renewed the sequence for the third season of 10 Episodes, which debuted on April 1, 2017, with the rest of the season scheduled to go on air during the summer of the alike year.
The sequence originated from a lively short movie parody of the movie Back to the future created by Roiland for the 101 Channel Film Festival. The Adult Swim approached Harmon about ideas for a television show, then he and Roiland developed the program based on the short, replacing the figures of Doc with Rick and Marty with Morty.
