The Cat in the Hat (also known as Dr. Seuss ‘ The Cat in the Hat) is 1 2003 American fantasy comedy movie directed by Bo Welch in his debut and based on Dr. Seuss’s book of the alike name. Starring Mike Myers, Dakota Fanning, Spencer Breslin, Alec Baldwin and Kelly Preston, is Dr. Seuss’s second adaptation feature movie after the 2000 movie as the Grinch stole Christmas.
The idea was originally conceived in 2001 with Tim Allen initially released as the cat, nevertheless dropped its role due to work in Santa Claus 2 and the paper was later given to Myers.
